Overview

River Fishing Forecast is a planning tool that helps freshwater anglers assess river and weather conditions for saved fishing spots. This policy describes what data the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

River Fishing Forecast does not require an account. In this version, all user-created data is stored locally on your device.


Data We Collect and Store

All of the above is stored locally using SwiftData on your device. The app does not sync this data to any server.

Location Data

River Fishing Forecast accesses your location only when you actively search for nearby river stations. Specifically:

Location is not tracked in the background. Precise coordinates are not stored unless you explicitly save a spot.
