River Fishing Forecast does not require an account. In this version, all user-created data is stored locally on your device.
| Data Type | Example | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Saved fishing spots | Name, coordinates, USGS station ID | Display conditions for your spots |
| Fishing logs | Date, species, catch result, notes, condition snapshot | Personal trip record |
| App preferences | Unit selection (imperial/metric) | Display customization |
| Subscription status | Pro or Free, managed via StoreKit | Feature entitlement |
All of the above is stored locally using SwiftData on your device. The app does not sync this data to any server.
