Overview

Signature Creator & Scanner is a local-first iOS utility app. We take your privacy seriously.

This app creates signature image files for personal use (e.g., inserting into documents and forms). It is not a legal electronic signature platform and does not verify identity or certify signatures.

Data We Don’t Collect

Signature Creator & Scanner does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your signatures or signature images
• Handwriting samples or biometric data
• Personal information
• Names or email addresses
• Usage analytics or device data
• Location data
• Any data to third-party servers

How Your Data Is Handled

• Signature processing: All signature scanning, editing, and generation is performed entirely on your device using on-device image processing. No images are ever uploaded to any server.
• Signature storage: Signatures you save are stored locally on your device in the app’s document directory. They are never synced to any cloud service.
• No account required: The app does not require you to create an account or sign in. There is no user database or backend server.
• Export: PNG and JPEG exports are saved directly to your device’s Photos library. PDF exports generate a temporary file and open the iOS share sheet for you to save or share. The app does not track or log what you export.

Camera and Photos

The app may request access to your camera and photo library to:

• Capture a photo of a handwritten signature from paper
• Import an existing signature photo from your library
