Tide Window is a local-first tide planning app for checking tide times, tide charts, tide calendars, favorite NOAA tide stations, and local tide alerts.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Tide Window collects, how it is used, and how it is stored.
Tide Window does not require an account and does not operate a custom backend server.
The app is designed to keep your tide planning data on your device whenever possible.
Tide Window may ask for your location permission to help find the nearest supported NOAA tide station.
Location access is optional. You can use manual station search without granting location permission.
When location access is used, Tide Window requests your current location from iOS and uses it to select nearby tide stations. Tide Window does not create a location history and does not send your location to a Tide Window server.
