Microphone Access

Pitch Tuner asks for microphone access so it can detect your vocal pitch in real time.

Microphone audio is used only while pitch monitoring or vocal range testing is active. The app processes this audio locally on your device to estimate pitch, note name, frequency, cents deviation, and vocal range results.

Pitch Tuner does not record, store, transmit, or share microphone audio.

Data Stored on Your Device

Pitch Tuner may store basic vocal range test results locally on your device, such as:

• Lowest detected comfortable note
• Highest detected comfortable note
• Vocal range span
• Possible voice type label
• Date of the result
