• FileMend does not require an account.
• FileMend does not contain advertising or tracking technology.
• FileMend does not directly send analytics or crash reports to a server operated by us in the current release.
• Your original files are not modified or automatically deleted.

Information Processed on Your Device

When you choose a photo, video, audio file, PDF, or other supported file, FileMend may process the following information locally on your device:

• the file contents;
• the file name, type, size, and local file location;
• image dimensions, orientation, color information, and metadata;
• photo capture date and location metadata, when present;
• video or audio duration, resolution, codec, frame rate, and bitrate;
• PDF page count and page contents;
• conversion settings, progress, verification results, and error information.

FileMend uses this information only to analyze the selected file, perform the action you request, verify the output, display local history, and help you manage the resulting files. This information is not transmitted to us.
